When:  Dec. 28th 7am – Jan. 1st 3pm

Cost:  $76 (covers travel expenses, breakfast, lodging), must provide money for lunch and supper.  We will be staying at the La Quinta Inn in Overland Park, KS..

Open Gym/Movie Night

When:  Saturday, November 14th from 7pm-10pm

Where:  Church at the Gate

Cost:  Free

We will be playing games, watching movies and eating food. Join us for basketball, dodgeball, volleyball and kickball in the gym. We will be playing ping-pong, pool, foosball and board games in the lounge room. In the youth room we will watch movies and play Disney’s “Scene It.”

The Life of the American Teenager

I keep hearing that teenagers are looking for a place to talk about life, vent, share things, and just hang out. The Life of the American Teenager is created just for you.

You will be able to have some good eats, (muffins, donuts, mt. dew, energy drinks) be able to text in responses anonymously to questions about your life and talk about what is going on every Sunday morning during first service.

We will meet in the youth room at 8:45am for some food, texting, and chillling.

Corn Maze Re-scheduled

Due to the rain we have had over the last few weeks the corn maze will be too muddy for us to navigate this Saturday.  Therefore, we will re-schedule our trip until Saturday, Oct 31st at the Trunk or Treat event.  More details will follow once times are finalized.

New Burn Time

Starting October 11th Burn will change times to 5:30-7:00pm to coincide with the Sunday Night Service.

Superhero vs Villian

Its that time again to bring back the SuperHero contest but add Villians to the game. Coming up on October 11th (the start of our new Burn time) we will be having a Superhero vs Villian contest. There will be prizes given away. We will also be talking about SuperHeroes and Villians of the Bible during the month of October. Don’t Miss and it and bring some peeps with you! It’s gonna be SCHWEET!

Come dressed as your favorite Villain.  Prizes will be awarded for most creative, best costume and best presentation!

Middle School KC Trip

Dear Middle School Parents & Students,

The details for the upcoming trip to Kansas City are ready to be released! We will be leaving Saturday, September 26th in morning and returning Sunday night at the same time youth group is done. Saturday we will spend all of the day playing games and riding rides at Worlds of Fun. We will then stay the night at the Courtyard by Marriott. Sunday morning we will go to the 10:30am service at IHOP (International House of Prayer). This will be a good chance for our students to get familiar with the church in which many of our other members are currently being trained at. Currently we have 8 leaders that have committed, and I would like to keep between a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio for the trip. Therefore, we are encouraging the students to invite friends to come along with us.

The cost of the trip is $75 plus two meals. Students will have to cover their own lunch on the trip down and back. Your $75 covers admission to Worlds of Fun, gas, 2 meals and the hotel room. Scholarships are available if needed. Registration & Fees for the trip are due at church by Friday, September 18th. Below is a copy of the tentative itinerary and attached are a couple of registration forms (one for student and one for friend). 6:00pm- Eat dinner as a group at WOF (we provide)
10:00pm- Leave Worlds of Fun
10:30pm- Arrive at Hotel
11:00pm- Sleep (hopefully)
Sept. 27th
7:00am- Wake up (swim in hotel pool)
8:00am- Breakfast (we provide)
9:30am- Go to Church at IHOP
12:00pm- Leave KC for Sioux Falls
1:00pm- Lunch on road (students must provide meal)
7:00pm- Arrive back to Church at the Gate

What to bring: Church clothes, swim wear, toiletries, $10-$20 for meals on road. Please pack everything in smallest bag possible, there is not a lot of luggage space in our van.

Burn at Wall Lake

Do Not Come To Church For Burn Next Week!!!

Where: Wall Lake (about 5 miles west of town)

What to Bring:  Meat will be provided, look in bulliten to see what you are suppose to bring

Epic Water Fight

Epic Water Fight from 4-6pm on Tuesday the 4th.  Bring you friends, water guns, water balloons, and appropriate swimwear.  We will play water games and bring out the slip and slide again!
